Tom Studwell gave David Kaminski's presentation on Policy-driven Computing.
Karl asked about where TomS thought the key activities in policy standards were taking place. TomS referred to a joint working group between OASIS and GGF.
Hal responded to a question about policy language from Karl to the XACML work within OASIS of which he is co-chair. There is also OGSI, jointly chartered between WSDM and OASIS.
There is a lot of work on policy languages, but no open standards yet. It is likely to be several years before we actually achieve them.
