Before joining BAT eighteen months ago, Sadie was Head of Product Architecture at 3, where she was responsible for the definition of the application and technical architectures for their product portfolio. Prior to this she served as a Technology Evangelist in KPMG's Financial Services practice advising clients in the area of strategy and architecture. Prior to this Sadie was Legal & General's Strategy Architect contributing to the formulation of IT strategy and promoting enterprise architecture and component-based development into the organisation.

Sadie worked for a number of years as a Researcher in the IT Department of UMIST, Manchester where her research interests included domain engineering, knowledge acqusition and learning, techno-economic paradigm shifts and enterprise architecture. In addition to working on a number ESPRIT research programmes, she also completed her post-graduate studies.
