Jim Whitmore has
worked for IBM for 19 years performing consulting, solution design, integration and
technical support. Prior to IBM, Mr. Whitmore held a range of technical positions in
government and in private industry. Jim has contributed to the development, practice and
teaching of design methods for security. Mr. Whitmore is co-inventor for a patent
application filed in April 2001, entitled A Method for Architecting Secure Solutions. The
patent document describes a system model and systematic approach for developing end-to-end
IT security solutions using Common Criteria as a taxonomy for requirements. Jim holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MS degree in Telecommunications Management. He is also a member of ACM and IEEE. |
