Since joining Computas in 2000, Bill Wright has led the company to its position as a preferred provider of Enterprise Architecture modeling tools in both the public and private sectors. Computas' visual modeling software is increasingly being adopted by federal agencies as a solution for complying with e-government mandates to build and maintain enterprise architectures. In the commercial marketplace, Enterprise Architecture models created using Computas tools are driving improved business decision-making at companies such as, Boeing, EDS, NCR, GlaxoSmithKline, Rolls Royce, and BNSF. Government customers include the Departments of Commerce, Defense, Energy, and Treasury.

Before taking the helm at Computas, Wright was Vice President at Trans-X, Inc, where he provided consulting services for knowledge-based system analysis and design, development and implementation. Clients included, Volvo, Dresser-Rand, Microsoft , Alitalia, Sun Microsystems, and Sequent Computers.

Wright has also held numerous IT management positions at Boeing, including four years as Chief Computing Architect for the Boeing Commercial Airplane Company. Before that, in his 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, Wright's responsibilities included managing the design of systems to support space operations.

Wright holds a Ph.D. in computing science from Texas A&M University, and a B.S. in General Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
