Ajit Kapoor has been involved with the computer industry for the last 30+ years during which he had P&L responsibilities in engineering, finance, marketing, strategic planning, and quality assurance areas. He has held various positions covering the gamut from individual contributor, to project leader to executive management at Xerox, Mead, Burroughs, Dun and Bradstreet/Dataquest, Nynex/BIS, Meta Group, AlliedSignal, General Motors, and Lockheed Martin corporations. He also was a principal at the Intelligent Solutions, a global consultancy he founded for 2 years.

Mr. Kapoor also spent 15 years as an industry consultant and advisor to the computer, communication, and the electronic imaging industry. His clients included leaders in the global computer, telecom, and imaging industry, from Asia – Canon, Ricoh, Matsushita, Kyocera, Fujitsu, Fuji Photo, Sony, from Europe – Agfa, Siemens, ICI, Olivetti, Groupe Bull, Oce, and from the US – Xerox, Dupont, Apple, Adobe, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, TI, National Semiconductor, etc.. His practice included a rich list of information technology consumers like financial institutions, health care companies, manufacturing organizations, and consumer goods producers. During this period he was widely published in major trade publications and periodicals like Business Week, Wall Street Journal, and other national and international publications.

Mr. Kapoor is presently the Chief Architect of IT Architectures and Frameworks for Lockheed Martin, Chief Technology Office and is involved in the full spectrum of IT strategic initiatives.
