Walter Wittkamp is a senior enterprise architecture consultant with The Vision Web. He helps to make architectures work. Not only constructing architecture, where business goals and IT possibilities are aligned, but also making sure that the organization is working under architecture.

Walter has a masters degree in linguistics and minors in informatics and management. Since 1990 he has worked in different industries and in the public sector, mainly in positions between business and IT. In the late 90's he was responsible for EAI strategies for several large companies in The Netherlands. In 2002, he was asked to establish a framework, method and governance process to align business operations and IT operations for the Dutch Ministry of Defence. Currently, he is also involved in training the Defence staff in the area of architecture.

He has published several articles on the enterprise architecture process and is a professional trainer on the subject of enterprise architecture.
