Synopsis

Introduction to Value Systems Architecture

An enterprise Value System is a system that enables an enterprise to optimally adapt and respond to changes in the environment based on product / service (e.g. the enterprise) competitive value (competitive fitness) considerations. The Value System consists of "business" and information technology components working together to define, specify, implement, and maintain product / service value and value-related strategies and goals, monitoring, analysis, control, etc. This presentation discusses the "value knowledge domain", architecture considerations for embedding this domain in an enterprise, high-level value system architecture, and the recursive use of the value system to assess an architecture and engineering system
