XCU --- ERN 10 A/M : Some discussion over the status of XCU ERN 10. The three ORs vote for the proposed resolution in the rdvk report and that the item should be included in TC2. The group would still like to discuss this in person with Geoff Clare on a future call if thats possible. XSH --- XSH ERN 114 A/M Andrew will take the latest update from the reflector and use that. XSH ERN 116 A/M (minor changes to submission) XSH ERN 117 OPEN Ulrich thinks the specification is correct as is. There is some question about whether there is a defect in ISO C. Action:Andrew find out whether a DR is being filed against ISO C for this item Hold this open pending further status XSH ERN 118 A/M We rejected the argument put forward in the ERN because a condition variable does not have state, and if there is no other thread waiting the signal is gone. The application needs to recheck the predicate on any return because it cannot be sure there is another thread waiting on the thread to handle the signal, and if there is not then signal is lost. The burden is on the application to check the predicate. We have added further RATIONALE to address the issue. XSH ERN 119 A/M Note that M_PI is an XSI extension XSH ERN 120 A/M Note that M_SQRT1_2 is an XSI extension XSH ERN 121 A/M Minor changes to original XSH ERN 122 reject The group felt that the definition of Process in XBD addresses the issue and that no further words are needed. XSH ERN 123 A/M minor changes and include part of the note XSH ERN 124 A/M minor changes to original XSH ERN 125 A/M minor changes to original XSH ERN 126 A/M Agreed with proposed response. In gettaddrinfo ERRORS section Change From: "The getaddrinfo() function shall fail and return the corresponding value if:" To: "The getaddrinfo() function shall fail and return the corresponding error value if:" XSH ERN 127 A/M Add error handling to pipe() call XSH ERN 128 Accept (note Andrew fixed up the example inline with some very minor changes) XSH ERN 129 Accept Andrew will update the aardvark reports on the web site with the latest information including new aardvark subsequently received.
