Draft Status

Andrew reported that the IEEE ballot group period had closed
and that he had made some adjustments to the categories
of users (and informed those affected) to get balance in the
group -- we initially had 55% General Interest. The group
is now balanced and we await the approval of Lowell Johnson
the PASC chair before we can commence the IEEE ballot.

Andrew has announced The Open Group company review to commence
October 3rd. He hopes to coordinate that and the IEEE ballot to
run in parallel.

He noted that we won't make the October 21 deadline for the
December IEEE standards board, so we will progress at a
steadier pace for IEEE approval in February or March.
