STATUS: CLOSED ACTION AI-2006-02-28: AJ to filter the XSH, XCU and XRAT aardvarks for SD5 and interps material. STATUS: OPEN, ongoing in progress ACTION AI-2006-02-29: AJ to publish a first draft of the revision project plan by 2006-03-03. STATUS: CLOSED, see Austin/284 Action: on Andrew to collect actions that relate to rdvk and add them to the appropriate rdvk reports Defect Report Processing ------------------------- The group picked up on the latest batch of defect reports, which are available at the following URL: http://www.opengroup.org/austin/aardvark/latest/ The group concentrated on the issue of XSH ERN 137 XSH ERN 137 strerror We were unable to reach a consensus, decided to wait until we hear back from the C Standard committee. There are at least three issues 1. Should standard error numbers have distinct mesg strings? 2. Should unknown error numbers be required to produce anyting other than a null string ? 3. If the error number is not a known error number should the requirement be changed to a shall fail with EINVAL? We had disagreement on all three points.
