Rationale: See notes above. Notes to the Editor (not part of this interpretation): See Desired Action. Bug 0000369: Can setsockopt() round timeout values to clock resolution? Accepted as marked http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=369 This has been tagged as a TC1-2008 item. An interpretation is required Interpretation response The standard does not speak to this issue, and as such no conformance distinction can be made between alternative implementations based on this. This is being referred to the sponsor. Rationale: None. Notes to the Editor (not part of this interpretation): Make the changes suggested in the Desired Action field. Bug 0000367: interaction between readonly, export, getopts, and read OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=367 There is still some discussion on the reflector. Eric agreed to write up a proposal. Bug 0000366: ftok() with paths on the same filesystem OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=366 A discussion followed on this. Some research is needed into how vendors have been handling the shortcomings of ftok() and if they have developed alternatives.
