Bug 0000721: Internal storage vs static storage OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=721 This item is still open. * Current Business Bug 0000251: Forbid newline, or even bytes 1 through 31 (inclusive), in filenames OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=251 We discussed bug 251 as a lot of comments had been received on this item. It was noted that at the moment a proposed resolution has not been posted and the bug is still open . Don is still working on the proposal. The consensus was that we still want to prevent newline and some of the new proposals would require a large rewrite of the shell and utilities volume. There is a lot of history on the topic, including goals of making something that can be implemented when in a conforming environment, still allow for existing files with newlines, and without necessarily restricting non-conforming environments. Bug 0000720: Can pthread_rwlock_wrlock be called recursively by the same thread? OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=720 A question had been received asking for status on this bug. Andrew was given an action to email Dave Butenhof and also John Zolnowsky for their expert opinions (completed in the meeting) Bug 0000735: 5 shift/reduce conflicts in Shell Grammar Rules Accepted http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=735 This item is tagged for TC2-2008 Bug 0000735: 5 shift/reduce conflicts in Shell Grammar Rules OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=736 This bug was discussed but not closed during the meeting.
