Bug 0000721: Internal storage vs static storage OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=721 This item is still open. * Current Business *Bug 0000742 Generated links are faulty generated Accept as Marked http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=742 There is no way at present to "turn off" HTML interpretation in text/notes, except globally (total on/off switch in configuration file for the product). Mark has updated the help text for the Mantis. The workaround for submission of code/markup to be discussed is via attaching text files to the issue via the "Upload File" button. We discussed some items on the mailing list. (mail sequence 19739) Action: Andrew to ask David Korn whether ksh 'test ! = -o a' is a bug in ksh vs. the standard (for XSI, standard appears to require "! \( = -o a \)", ksh appears to use "\( ! = \) -o a") (completed after the meeting) Bug 0000714: yn(n,0) is incorrect for odd n<0 ReOPENED http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=714 There had been some discussion on the y0() function on the mailing list. The bug was reopened to add in the comments raised in mail. Mark Brown has action item to go to Fred Tydeman for further opinion/advice. (completed during the meeting) Bug 0000738: Size of buffer returned by strndup( ) ambiguous. Accepted as Marked http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=738 This item is tagged for TC2-2008 At least glibc and AIX use only strnlen(s,size)+1; the existing requirements are fine, but we propose adding explanatory text: After line 64235 page 2012 [XSH strndup APPLICATION USAGE], add a new paragraph: Implementations are free to malloc() a buffer containing either (size + 1) bytes or (strnlen(s, size) + 1) bytes. Applications should not assume that strndup() will allocate (size + 1) bytes, when strlen(s) is smaller than size. Bug 0000739: CX requirements for strftime seem to conflict with ISO C OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=739 Action: on Nick to raise a question with the C committee. (Mark emailed Nick with the item - completed during the meeting) Bug 0000740: Interpretation of field widths for wcsftime is unspecified Accepted as Marked http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=740 This item is tagged for TC2-2008 Add a new bullet item after line 70726, with CX shading: Field widths specify the number of wide characters instead of the number of bytes. Bug 0000741: Add a NSIG constant (or, alternatively, SIGMAX) OPEN http://austingroupbugs.net/view.php?id=741 A discussion was started. Mark Z took the action to add a note to the bug to summarize the discussion (completed) Next Steps ---------- The next call is on September 12, 2013 (a Thursday) Calls are anchored on US time.
