P1003.1 Chair Report Austin-720 Page 1 of 1 Submitted by Andrew Josey, The Open Group. July 14, 2015 IEEE Std 1003.1 is developed and maintained by the Austin Common Standards Revision Group (CSRG), a joint technical working group that brings together the technical experts from ISO JTC1, IEEE and The Open Group. The latest revision to 1003.1 was published in 2008, with the first technical corrigendum published in 2013. The P1003.1-2008/Cor 2 Project authorisation request was approved by IEEE on June 11. A copy is posted to the document register as Austin/713 at http://www.opengroup.org/austin/docreg.html. The next stage will be ballot group formation and preparation of the first ballot draft that will have to go for editorial coordination at IEEE. The ballot invitation has been issued, and closes on 12-Aug-2015 11:59pm Eastern Time. The working group it intends to bring forward a draft for IEEE ballot in late 3Q2015. The TC document itself will be a list of editorial changes to the 2008 edition of the standard, as corrected by TC1 (2013). As an aid to balloters, a merged draft of the standard is also planned to be included. Respectfully submitted, Andrew Josey P1003.1 Chair
