Interpretation response: The standard states that it is not required to define the socklen_t type in this header, and conforming implementations must conform to this. However, concerns have been raised about this which are being referred to the sponsor. Rationale: The standard permits but does not require the inclusion of the relevant headers to get socklen_t defined, and without this applications could not compile.
