As a heads up, nelow is a list of some of the areas I have personally
identified as possibilities for a future revision *subject* *to* *meeting*
the criteria in Austin/112r1 :

1. Thread-aware Locale model for interfacing to locale information in
the presence of threads

2. Asynchronous hostname lookup protocol extension

3. Additional APIs drawn from glibc

4. Resolution of conflicts with the LSB Specification

I'm expecting to develop one or more standalone specifications in
the first three areas, i'm expecting the fourth to be a work item
resulting from the ISO Linux standardization effort that would result
in a set of proposed changes/extensions to the existing standard.
Its going to be at least a couple of months before these work items will
be in reasonable shape to distribute, there's still some permissions
to obtain before some work can start, additional pages to draft etc.
I should probably also focus on TC2 as priority over this stuff
for the moment.

regards
Andrew
