Subject: BUG in XSHtc1-d1
Resent-To: yyyyyyyyyyyyyy@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Resent-From: yyyyyyyyyyyyyy@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
@ page 1 lines 27-28 section XSH/TC1/D1/3 objection
Problem:
The reserved names given in TC1 don't match those in the C Standard.
Action:
Change the two lines to:
INT[0-9A-Za-z_]*_MIN, INT[0-9A-Za-z_]*_MAX, INT[0-9A-Za-z_]*_C
UINT[0-9A-Za-z_]*_MIN, UINT[0-9A-Za-z_]*_MAX, UINT[0-9A-Za-z_]*_C
Additional comment:
The C standard reserves the type names:
int[0-9A-Za-z_]*_t, uint[0-9A-Za-z_]*_t
for this header. I'm not sure if any corresponding change is needed.
@ page 1 lines 67 section XSH/TC1/D1/6 editorial
Problem:
Bad grammar.
Action:
Change "elements of" to "an element of".
Make the same change on line 387.
@ page 1 lines 368-392 section XSH/TC1/D1/35 objection
Problem:
The wording used here applies to bcompare, not to qsort.
Action:
Lines 371-2: change "no match shall be found" to "no rearrangement shall
take place".
Delete lines 378-9.
Replace lines 383-4 with: "That is, they shall define a total ordering on
the array."
Line 386: change "the second argument" to "each argument".
Line 388: after for every call insert ", for each argument separately,".
