Problem:

The statements about gmtime() and localtime() returning a null pointer
are said to be CX-shaded.  These statements are being added for
alignment with the C standard, and the shading is unnecessary.

Action:

Remove "(Shaded and marked with the CX margin code)" from line 211 and
from line 270.
