Problem:

Defect code :  1. Error

The paragraph in lines 33977 to 33982 comes from another time before the 
existence of error-checking mutexes.  It's confusing today since error checking 
mutexes are standardized and do exactly what is here proposed the user should 
do.

Action:

Remove the whole paragraph.
