The rationale under timer_create() explains concepts of timer
overruns
in terms of queued signal delivery. We would like a clarification on
whether
the overrun concept is applicable with the sigevent structure associated
with
a timer creation is a SIGEV_THREAD notification rather than SIGEV_ SIGNAL
notification.
We've noticed that the spec extremely limited in what it says
about
thread notification, mentioning SIGEV_THREAD only in signal.h (struct
sigevent),
and in the Signal Concepts section of General Information.
