Good.

I don't have these numbers memorized (any longer): what's
the title/provenance of that one?

Not unreasonable, but I'd prefer to do it via the "old" channel
if we can get concurrence from everyone.

Actually, I don't know if there's too much to debate: I don't
really (in general) object to the new style, and I haven't
heard any other folks griping about it. I'm strictly concerned
about PROCESS: how we get the thing past all the hurdles to
approval, so the only debate would be w.r.t. what style
requirements that are imposed upon us to get approval are
ones we can't live with. To have that debate, we need to
know what style requirements are going to be imposed, and that's
the negotiation that needs to be happening as soon as possible.

I'm waiting for this objection to show up in the Aardvark list
of submitted objections before submitting more, just so I know
the process works. (I intend to send some fairly large batches,
so I don't want to do that twice, so I'm starting small (in
count, anyway :-) ).
Yes, they're more specific. In some cases (unhappily) I don't
know what the fix should be, but in most I do suggest a specific
fix. I'll make a point of breaking out the ones that may need
discussion into separate mail from the more mechanical batches.
