FWIW, I agree that it would be useful to have the lists
archived on sites like gmane and others. In addition to
making them more easily searchable it would improve the
visibility of this group's efforts.

Thanks Andrew. I missed that link. That view archive view is somewhat better. In passing, is their any reason why the mailing lists couldn't be archived to gmane? gmane provides very nice threaded views (really much better than http://www.opengroup.org/austin/mailarchives/ag/), and great searching facilities.
