Defect Report Processing
-------------------------
The group picked up on the latest batch of defect
reports, which are available at the following URL:
http://www.opengroup.org/austin/aardvark/latest/
XCU ERN 22/23 awk OPEN
We considered the mail from Paul Eggert.
The intent was that the language recognized by awk not
be changed by c99, and that we wanted it to be stringent.
We will ask Paul Eggert if he can help us cleanup the wording
as suggested in http://www.opengroup.org/austin/mailarchives/ag/msg09158.html.
XCU ERN 55 IFS Accept
This is an interpretation
XCU ERN 57 mv OPEN
Leave open for now
Don suggested as an alternative to the first suggested change
as follows:
If the destination path exists and was created by a previous step it is
implementation-defined whether this will treated as an error or the destination
path will be overwritten.
We need to consider this with -f and -i and require some explicit
behavior
Next Steps
-----------
Andrew will update the aardvark reports with the latest inbound
defect reports.
The next call will be 23rd March
