The Austin Common Standards Revision Group (CSRG) is a joint technical
working group that manages the joint specification that is ISO/IEC 9945
(POSIX), IEEE Std 1003.1 and The Open Group Base Specifications Issue 7.
Work continues in the Austin Group in regular teleconferences and on the
email reflector. The major work item is maintenance of the 2008
edition standard, processing defect reports.
The group is currently migrating its defect reports to an online system,
available at http://austingroupbugs.net. This will facilitate automation
of processing and improved tracking of defects. The next deliverable
is likely to be a Technical Corrigendum once a significant number of
defect reports have been processed, although as yet no date has been
set for that.
