Distributed TP: The TX (Transaction Demarcation) Specification

This document defines the TX interface, the application programming interface (API) by which the application program calls the Transaction Manager to demarcate global transactions and direct their completion. The Open Group is developing other interfaces for distributed transaction processing; see the Distributed Transaction Processing Reference Model, Version 2 (G307) for an overview of the complete set.
