Counterfeit products and products that have been maliciously tampered with pose a significant threat to organizations and nations through the potential introduction of untracked malicious behavior. This can damage both customers and suppliers, resulting in failed or inferior products, revenue and brand equity loss, disclosure of intellectual property, as well as mission-critical catastrophes.

In September 2015, ISO/IEC approved the Open Trusted Technology Provider™ Standard (O-TTPS), a standard of The Open Group, as ISO/IEC 20243:2015. The standard reduces the possibility of damage by mitigating the risk of tainted and counterfeit parts and products.

This webinar will show how the standard can be leveraged by:

  • Customers, to address product integrity and supply chain risk in their operating environments
  • Technology providers, in dealing with their global technology partners and providers including their OEMs, hardware and software component suppliers, product integrators, value-add distributors, and resellers
  • Both customers and technology providers, to encourage their global technology partners to adopt the best practices in the standard and to explore the vendor-neutral third-party O-TTPS certification/accreditation program that exists today
