Security in Federated Naming

This Technical Study analyses the Federated Naming CAE Specification (C403) in relation to computer security. It complements the security services framework information described in the Distributed Security Framework Guide (G410). In particular, it describes the threats associated with naming services in general, and relates these to the referenced specification. This Technical Study is one of a series which reviews security aspects of all Open Group specifications.
