Group Get best value from The Open Group The Role of The Open Group Supplier CouncilThe Open Group Supplier Council provides members who are primarily suppliers of Information Technology an opportunity to work with other Supplier Members to ensure that their membership and participation returns best value, both to Supplier Members in general and to the Open Systems community and The Open Group as a whole. A larger goal for the Supplier Council is to develop an active standards adoption program, promoting the benefits of adopting standards.
