Examination Test Centers

The Open Group offers examination tests for  TOGAF 8, TOGAF 9 and ArchiMate 2.

The TOGAF 8 examination is available only at Prometric test centers (see below)

The TOGAF 9 and ArchiMate 2 certification examinations are available through two channels, via Accredited  Training Course providers that offer the examination, and also through Prometric at its test centers worldwide.

Please note that not all Accredited TOGAF Training Course providers offer the examinations, some prefer to offer vouchers to attend a Prometric test center. Please check with your accredited training course provider.

Open Book Examinations at Prometric Test Centers

Please note that if you are taking an "Open Book" examination at a Prometric test center, then the reference book (TOGAF 9) is always built into the examination itself, and available by selecting the "Reference" button within the examination

Retake Policy

The Open Group certification policy for each program has a minimum period before you can retake an examination. This is typically one month. If you retake before that period your test result will be void. It should be noted that for the TOGAF program, this applies to all TOGAF examinations, so for example, if you fail the Part 1 section of the TOGAF 9 Combined Part 1 and Part 2 examination, you would still need to wait at least one month before taking just the Part 1 examination.

Open Group exams are available at any authorized Prometric testing center around the world. If calling within North America, contact Prometric at (800) 755-EXAM (755-3926). Outside the United States and Canada, contact your local Prometric Registration Center.
