Edward Jestin is the Global Head of Information Security Services at Salomon Smith Barney Inc., recently formed in the merger of Salomon Brothers and Smith Barney. Mr. Jestin joined Salomon Brothers in 1996 from the Chase Manhattan Bank. During his 13 years at Chase as a Vice President, Mr. Jestin held a variety of positions related to information systems management and control.

John Marshall is the Global Head of Messaging and Mobile Computing for Salomon Smith Barney. He has been with the Salomon Brothers for nine years and has held a variety of management positions in messaging and network services.

Paul Raines is the Vice President of Electronic Security for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's computer and network security systems. Prior to working at the Federal Reserve Bank, Mr. Raines worked for the U.S. Postal Service where he was the Program Manager for Electronic Commerce. In this capacity he worked on new postal businesses using public key cryptography for encryption and authentication.

Michele Rubenstein is the Director of Electronic Messaging and Online Services for the Treasury Department, providing strategic oversight for related programs for Treasury's fourteen business units. Ms. Rubenstein is a member of EMA's Board of Directors as well as several government and industry technology working groups and committees. Prior to joining Treasury, she worked at the Department of Defense and has also worked in the telecommunications and banking fields.

Steve Wincor has held a variety of positions over the past seventeen years, ranging from supervisor, manager, consultant, planner, staff architect, systems administrator, and operations lead programmer. He has worked for oil, government, aerospace, and high tech industries. Mr. Wincor's current position entails design of Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Architecture and its associated standards, processes, and infrastructure. Mr. Wincor has given numerous presentations over the past fifteen years, mainly dealing with technology planning and strategies.

Maurene Caplan Grey is the Director of Enterprise Messaging at GartnerGroup, Inc. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction for messaging globally and project managing the deployment of a new messaging solution. Ms. Grey has over 13 years experience in planning and managing enterprise-wide messaging environments, with mainframe, LAN-based, and client/server architectures. Prior to joining GartnerGroup, Ms. Grey managed the messaging environment of a large transportation company with more than 65,000 users of disparate proprietary e-mail systems, with X.400 and Internet mail connectivity. She has also spoken at user conferences on best practices of managing mail environments.

Marshall T. Rose's professional history is in Internet Technologies. He has authored more than 60 Internet RFCs, implemented most, and produced and provisioned many of them. Mr. Rose has participated in the design, implementation, and is a prolific user of several different e-mail products. Although, the majority of his work is in e-mail, Mr. Rose has also worked in directory services and network management. He owns and operates his own consulting business, but spends most of his time at First Virtual, leading a group in charge of developing interactive, reactive, and transactive advertising technologies for e-mail and the web.

David Strom is the President of David Strom, Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to improving the quality of networked products. Prior to starting his own firm, he was the founding Editor-In-Chief of Network Computing magazine. Strom helped launch PC Week's first regularly scheduled networking supplement called Connectivity in 1987. He has worked in varying roles in end-user computing including TransAmerica Occidental Life's Information Center and the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Information Center. Strom has tested and used a wide range of eCommerce and networking technologies.

Chris Rechsteiner is Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning for Mustang Software, Inc., which designs, develops and supports customer transaction management software applications that enable lasting, high-quality customer relationships via e-mail and Internet transactions. Mustang's Internet Message Center was named "Best of Show" by CallCenter Magazine at CT Expo in November, 1997, and recently named "Product of the Year" by Computer Telephony and CTI Magazine.

Dr. Bill Anderson is Director, Product Management for elliptic curve-based security products at Certicom Corp. He holds both Ph.D. and B.A.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada. Certicom is a leading provider of cryptographic information security technologies for computing and communications companies and a center for elliptic curve cryptographic research and development.
