L.A. Heberlein is President of Seattle Lab, a leading developer of Web-based software for Windows, including the Windows NT e-mail server SLmail and the first commercial Web-based mail product, Emurl. Before founding Seattle Lab in 1989, Heberlein spent many years as a software engineer working on operating system kernels.
Bern Elliot, eCommunications Corp., is an independent consultant providing research, design and project management services in the areas Unified Messaging, CTI, and integrated voice-data technology solutions. Mr. Elliot holds an MS in Computer Sciences and, over the last 15 years has successfully completed assignments with vendors, service providers, and user companies. His clients have included MIT, Digital, Bell-Atlantic, FranceTelecom, Lucent/Bell Labs, Merrill Lynch, Vanguard Consulting and many other firms. He writes for technical journals, speaks regularly at conferences, and holds patents in the voice messaging groupware area. He is currently Chair of the EMA Voice Messaging Committee, coordinator of the VPIM user trials, and Co-chair of the EMA Wireless Messaging Group.
Andrew Seybold heads a consulting firm and is Editor-in-Chief of a monthly newsletter entitled Andrew Seybolds Outlook. He is recognized as one of the top industry analysts within the microcomputer and communications fields, and is frequently called upon to provide information about both topics to the press. Mr. Seybold is considered by many to be the leading authority on mobile computing and communications industry.
Geof Wainwright, Infowave Software, Inc., is a regular contributor on technology issues to a number of leading newspapers and magazines around the worldincluding The Times of London and Communications International magazine.
David Lisbona, Senior Product Manager at Comverse Network Systems, has overall responsibility for the companys Unified Messaging and Internet-related Services in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. Prior to joining the company in December, 1996, he worked as an IT and Telecommunications Manager at the Eisenberg Group of Companies, as well as Managing Director at Index Systems Ltd. in Israel. Mr. Lisbona earned his MBA from Insead in France.
