The TMF: formerly the Network Management Forum: is primarily the organization for the telecommunications industry. TMF is a non-profit global organization that provides leadership: strategic guidance and practical solutions to improve the management andoperation of communications services. Its membership comprises incumbent and new-entrant service providers: computing and network equipment suppliers: software solution suppliers and customers of communications services.  Purpose To promote acceleration and commercialization of implementation specifications for service management, network management and system administration technologies based on OSI and related de facto standards.

The TMF, formerly the Network Management Forum, is primarily the organization for the telecommunications industry. There have been discussions between the TMF and the Architecture Forum in the past, and there is a possibility that we can leverage the architectural work that they have done with their Next generation Operational Support System (NGOSS) project.

Joint Initiative with the TMF for writing the TMF's next version of their Service Level Agreement (SLA) Handbook The QoS Task Force is writing Volume 4, focused on SLA Parameters as driven by the Enterprise and how they map to the SLA Parameters in the Telco and Service Provider Domains.
