EEMA

The European Electronic Messaging Association is a European forum for electronic business. Formed in March 1987: it is an international: non-profit making organization which provides an independent forum for all participants in electronic business. It has members from users: hardware and software vendors: and government bodies to public and private systems and service providers. The European Electronic Messaging Association changed its name to the European Forum for Electronic Business: but kept the "EEMA" initials.

The Directory Interoperability Forum and EEMA are partners in the Global Directory Forum.

The Security Forum monitors their activities on promotion of eBusiness in Europe and specifically on its current work on "the PKI Challenge".

Peer-level relationship within WEMA (the Worldwide grouping of Electronic Messaging Associations). The EEMA PKI Challenge is Europe is complementary to The Open Group PKI Challenge in North America.
