Pass-One
A clear mission Pass-One's mission is to create One global end-user experience by implementing minimum service standards, certifying compliancy of its Members' networks, centralising the roaming administration and promoting WISPs as premium global wireless broadband providers. / Defined deliverables First, before the end of 2002, Pass-One will deliver a multilateral roaming agreement for its Members as well as a registered service mark. Second, the Business Working Group (BWG) will define the roaming business model including the charging principles and billing procedures. Third, the Technical Working Group (TWG) will define a clear roaming architecture that caters for the most cost-efficient roaming infrastructure for WISPs. All deliverables are closely measured by the Executive Committee and the chairs of the Working Groups, according to their respective roadmaps. / Facilitate the existence of multiple WISPs Pass-One caters for WISPs with multiple backgrounds. The Members' profiles range from classical WISPs owning the complete value chain to virtual WISPs, brokers and aggregators and finally cellular and fixed carriers. Pass-One sets a service level for a broadband service independently from the core business of its Members.
