Short-Bio
Elaine Babcock is the Chief, Standards Integration for the Defense Information Systems
Agency (DISA), U.S. Department of Defense. DISA plans, develops, fields, and supports
command, control, communications and information systems that serve the needs of the
President and the Military under all conditions of peace and war. She provides standards
engineering, management, requirements, analysis, and assessments services to DISA’s
major programs including Net Centric Enterprise Services and Global Information Grid
Bandwidth Expansion. Elaine also manages DISA’s memberships and representatives to
all non-governmental standards organizations.
