Free DCE Software and Documentation

The Open Group is currently making available the following versions of Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) available for non-commercial use:

• DCE 1.2.2 and 1.1 software and documentation is provided by The Open Group and its sponsors.
• DCE-Web software from The Open Group. The software integrates DCE with the World Wide Web, providing more robust security and naming services.

In addition, the DCE Community has contributed DCE-related programs provided by numerous collaborators. The source code includes administrative tools, sample programs, threads packages, object libraries, performance tools and PC-DCE examples.

Commercial versions of DCE and DCE-based products are available from numerous vendors.
