Introduction

The DIF will hold a meeting on Wednesday 10th April and the morning of Thursday 11th April. This meeting is open to DIF members and also to people that registered for the LDAP Developers Conference, which has now been postponed.

Introduction to DIF Meeting and Review of Agenda

The Current State of Directory and Directory Application Development. Presentations from Alan Clark and Ed Shropshire (Novell), and Chris Harding (The Open Group), plus group discussion.

Coffee Break

The Future of Directory and Directory Application development. Presentations from John McGarvey (IBM) and Phil Allen (OpenNetwork Technologies), plus group discussion.

12:30

Lunch Break

14:00

Directory and the Integrated Information Infrastructure (In3)

Presentation on In3 by Terry Blevins (The Open Group), followed by discussion of how Directory can contribute to In3, and on the role of the DIF.

15:30

Tea Break

Directory Certification

Group discussion on evolving and re-packaging the Open Brand for LDAP 2000 and Works With LDAP 2000.
