Chris Greenslade
Executive Director and Chairman of the Board, Architecting the Enterprise

After 25 years in the IT business, my association with The Open Group began in 1991 as a consultant to OSF. That association continued as EMEA Manager of The Open Group Professional Services Department and subsequently as a Director of Member Companies. Much of my business since that time has resulted from that association. I soon realized that the objectives and mission of The Open Group were something with which I easily sympathized. In fact since then my own mission statement has been "to encourage the worldwide use of The Open Group's open system standards, methods and techniques, by providing vendor-independent consultancy and educational support services."

In return, wherever possible, I have tried to contribute back to The Open Group. That is why I took on the Chair of the Architecture Forum and why I have contributed to all but one of the Member’s Meetings in the last four years.
