This session is recommended for all members who need an understanding of the procedures for developing and approving standards within The Open Group.

  With your requirements and experience, take this opportunity to ask questions, make comments and generally influence the development of the EA Assessment, Improvement, and Best Practice framework through a series of round table discussion sessions.

BoF: Security for the Cloud and SOA, and related environments
Weds 18 July, 6.00-7.30 pm

In this BoF attendees are invited to consider what The Open Group has delivered on securing Cloud and SOA environments, what current and planned activities exist in our Forums and Work Groups to deliver more, and what further security-related activities are most relevant for them. All ideas are welcome in the discussion – including things not currently in any declared program of work items. [Read more]

The Open Group Plato Collaboration System

This session will provide an overview of Plato, The Open Group Collaboration System and how it can be used to provide a homestead for Forums and Work Groups, including document management, action items, events scheduling, and review documents. This session is recommended for all members who are participating in work streams within The Open Group Forums and Work Groups.

Cloud Work Group
Thursday, July 19, 9:00-10:30 am

• Open Meeting on the Cloud Work Group
  This meeting will enable interested delegates to find out about the Cloud Work Group: its composition, way of working, and current projects, and will feature an in-depth review of the work of the Cloud Computing Interoperability and Portability project, which is producing an Open Group Guide to Cloud Computing Portability and Interoperability, and a White Paper on Cloud Brokers.
