Performance modelling for SOA
SOA brings new challenges to architecture, one of which is successfully predicting the performance of the as-built system. There are many layers in the solution to consider, often along with the incorporation of new elements in the software stack. Traditional approaches to performance engineering must be reconsidered in light of this. This talk, by an instructor in IBM's Architecting for Performance course and a member of IBM's SOA Advanced Technology team will bring practical experience in understanding and estimating performance in SOA projects. Attendees will learn approaches to doing their own performance estimation and modelling for SOA.
