SOA Stream Keynote Presentation: Developing a Corporate Vision and Roadmap for SOA

Getting IT right is high stakes with global IT spending predicted to reach $2.13 trillion in 2007, up 6% from 2006.  Projects fail, sometimes spectacularly, that happens when you take risk; but if you look at IT project management stats you would almost bet against success. However, failure is not inevitable and General Motors has developed a corporate vision and roadmap for SOA that has significantly increased the success rate of IT projects and created a structure for rapid business transformation.  Zhang will share GM's challenges, key learnings and success stories in creating a corporate vision covering business architecture, service oriented architecture, technology architecture, and implementation roadmap as well as how to align these key architectures to form a complete enterprise architecture for business transformation and success.
