The Company Review of The Open Group COE Platform V2 Certification Program is taking place under the Direct Review procedure, with the GES Forum as sponsor of the review.

For the benefit of those unfamiliar with The Open Group Company Review process, it is a formal process by which a document is approved for publication by The Open Group. You are invited to review and submit proposed changes ("Change Requests") which would make the document acceptable to you. The GES Forum members will then propose proposed resolutions which will then be balloted by the forum members to decide which changes are accepted. COE Platform V2 is an evolution of the existing COE Platform V1 certification program. The major change in COE Platform V2 is alignment of the formal standards requirement with version 3 of the Single UNIX Specification (for UNIX 03). Other changes are some minor corrections to indicators of compliance, and updating the Conformance Statement Questionnaire to permit multiple patch levels of the GSKS.
