O-TTPS Snapshot Feedback Form

In March, The Open Group released for public comment a “snapshot” version of the Open Trusted Technology Provider Standard (O-TTPS): Mitigating Tainted and Counterfeit Products - a set of best practices for providers, component suppliers and integrators that, when conformed to, can increase the security of the global supply chain. Additionally, David Lounsbury, CTO of The Open Group, has testified before a US Congress Subcommittee that the approach being proposed by industry in this vendor-neutral and globally focused O-TTPS standard can bring value to all governments around the world in raising the bar for vendors, in a way that enables them to better secure their supply chains from tainted and counterfeit products. This has strengthened the standing of The Open Group's work in the field of establishing new supply chain security criteria as the voice of its members and partners.
 
Releasing a 'Snapshot' version of a new standard is intended to solicit feedback from outside the forum's membership in order to enhance the subsequent published version of the standard by addressing the concerns of this broadened set of constituents.
