2. Voting. (dme)

   dme indicated that he will prepare a list of votable items from
   Vish's document.  As previously mentioned, each member company is
   entitled to one vote.

   Votes should be returned to the list by the 9th May, 2002.

   Carl asked about his RDMA proposal.  dme indicated that it will be
   added to the new section 4 and voted upon accordingly.  Discussion
   of the proposal is added to the agenda for next week.

   The intention is to complete the vote on the memory management
   requirements on the 16th May 2002, but that needs to be confirmed
   at next week's teleconference call.

3. Walk through latest Memory Management document (Jeff).

   Jeff talked us through the 1.4 version of the memory management
   requirements.

   Quick notes follow:

   1. okay.
   2. s/WILL/SHOULD/
      discussion about tying memory to sockets, etc.
   3. ok.
   4. not just registered memory.  s/MUST/SHOULD/ s/used/access/ add
      "undefined result".
   5. ok.
   6. "in parent".
   7. won't be registered in the child process.
   7b. contents of memory posted for receive. will be undefined in the
       child following the fork.
   8. ran out of time.

   Jeff will write up the changes discussed and produce a new version
   of the document for the list.

4. Database ISV requirements. (dme)
   Moved to next week.

5. Explicit RDMA proposal. (Carl)
   Moved to next week.
