3. Approve the requirements document for working group voting.
   Not ready, due to the fork() and inheritance issues.

   The group discuss fork():

   Satya: Thursday meeting wants to go with option 3 and discard the
   others at this point.

   Jeff: concerned about the need to tag each IO in order to complete
   in the correct queue.

   Consensus in the meeting that one of the option 3 options is the
   correct one to choose.

   Consensus moved away from 3 towards 2.

   Consensus became fuddled, and we lost our way somewhat :-)

   Jeff: Some of these issues are distinct and can be considered
   separately.

   dme: Let's generate a matrix, and vote on the specific axis of the
   matrix.

   dme to generate the matrix.

   Vish raised concerns about the clarity of the poll() support (see
   tail of message from 2002-06-20).

   Discussion around stale events, edge/level triggered notification.

   Votable choice between:
   	   - state change notification (detail about coalesce),
	   - state polling.

   Vish: Does a direct replacement for poll() exist ?

   Shoot for a vote on Thursday.

   Vish: Waiting on multiple event queues ?
   	 Punt to Phase 2.

   Vish: Waiting for N events on the queue before wakeup.
   	 Punt to Phase 2.

4. Discuss the input from ITWG on event queues, etc.
   No time.

5. Formulate a response to the ITWG, including the need for a joint
   meeting to discuss the issues.
   No time.
