In recent weeks, The Open Group has welcomed three new Gold members: CPP Investment Board (Canada), Royal Philips Electronics (Netherlands), and Unilever Group plc (UK). In the same period, we have welcomed five new members to our Architecture Forum: Redd Consulting (UK), AutoTrader.com (USA), Estrat TI SA DE CV (Mexico), and Web Age Solutions (Canada) as Silver members; and Ming Chuan University Department of Information Management (Taiwan) as an Academic member.

The Open Group has recently welcomed six new Silver members to our Architecture Forum: NEOXIA Maroc (Morocco), Itera IT Institute Iberoamerica (Mexico), Accelare, Inc. (USA), MetLife (USA), Netwerk Gebruikersgroep Nederland (Netherlands) and SMME (UAE). We have also welcomed two new Academic members: Aoyama Gakuin University (Japan) to our Architecture Forum, and Public Research Centre Henri Tudor (Luxembourg) to our Archimate® Forum.
The TOGAF 9 People Certification program, launched earlier this year, has just exceeded its 1,000th registration.

In February, The Open Group attracted seven new forum memberships: Senacor Technologies (Germany), The Unit bv (The Netherlands), Gnosis IT Knowledge Solutions (Brazil), and Sybase® PowerDesigner® (US) have all joined the Architecture Forum as Silver members; SIM University (Singapore) has joined the Architecture Forum as a Silver Academic member. In addition, Orbus Software (UK), already a Silver member of the Architecture Forum, has now also joined the Archimate® Forum, and Seccombe Consulting (UK) has joined the Jericho Forum.
So far this year, we have welcomed three new Silver members to our Architecture Forum: KU-INOVA (Thailand's (Institute for Information Technology Innovation), Divinus Consulting (UK) and ETNIC (Entreprise des technologies nouvelles de l'information et de la communication, Belgium). We have also welcomed a new member to the Jericho Forum®: Sanofi-Aventis (France).
Following the successful Cloud Computing activities at our London and Toronto conferences, The Open Group has officially formed the Cloud Work Group. Given our extensive work in and around enterprise architecture and vendor neutrality, the new group's main goal is to ensure the effective and secure use of Cloud Computing in enterprise architectures.
Since mid-November, we have welcomed a new Gold member, Path Information Technology & Telecom Services (Brazil), and four new Silver members - ISM3 Consortium (Spain) in the Security Forum, and NAF (the Netherlands Architecture Forum), FirstRand Bank Limited (South Africa) and Wells Fargo (USA) in the Architecture Form.
The latest Open Group member spotlight focuses on Chris Greenslade, Director & Principal Consutant, CLARS Limited, and Chair, The Open Group Supplier Council, who has been associated with The Open Group since its inception.
Since the beginning of November, we have welcomed three new silver members to our Architecture Forum: Oracle (UK), Faculty Training Institute (South Africa), and CSC (USA). We have also welcomed Fortesque Metals Group (Australia) as a silver member in our EMMMv Forum.
TOGAF™ practitioners pass the 10,000 milestone! The number of certified individuals reflects the "tremendous efforts" of certified practitioners, trainers and Architecture Forum members "to reduce risk, expedite change and create closer links between IT and business".
We welcomed three more new members in September: Graphic Mining Solutions International (South Africa) as a silver member in the Exploration, Mining, Metals and Minerals Vertical Forum (EMMMv); and Arivia.kom (South Africa) and Anywhere s.r.o (Czech Republic) as silver members in our Architecture Forum
