● Q: Does the Jericho Forum hold public meetings?

A: Yes; So far in 2005 we have held three fully-open public meetings, one in April in London, one in May in the USA and one in September in Australia.

In addition we hold regular meetings to which we invite interested and prospective members.

● Q: Does the Jericho Forum provide speakers for events?

A: Usually we can accommodate appropriate requests. Typically the Jericho Forum is happy to supply speakers for conferences and other “independent” events. However we tend not to support “vendor” specific events.

Each request is treated on a case-by-case basis, but please remember that we get a lot of requests and all the speakers have full-time day jobs! None of the speakers receive any re-imbursement from the Jericho Forum, so we normally expect the event to pay for reasonable travel and accommodation if this is required.

You should contact the Jericho Forum at jerichoforum-interest@opengroup.org

● Q: Can someone come and speak with my company / organisation?

A: Usually we can accommodate appropriate requests and are very happy to come and speak to your company/organisation, especially if you want to join the Jericho Forum.

Each request will be treated on a case-by-case basis, but please remember that we get a lot of requests and all the speakers have full-time day jobs! None of the speakers receive any re-imbursement from the Jericho Forum, so we would hope you would offer to pay for reasonable travel and accommodation if this is required.
