Downloading the O-PAS Standard, Version 1.0 Standard as a member of The Open Group Open Process Automation Forum.

The O-PAS Standard, Version 1.0 is available to all to download free-of-charge for non-commercial use. That will usually mean using it inside your organization. To use the O-PAS Standard for commercial purposes, a Commercial License is available (more ...).

How to Apply for a Member License
If your organization is a member of The Open Group Open Process Automation Forum, you may download and use the O-PAS documentation internally under a personal Member License. The download procedure:

  1. Ensure you are logged in using your member account
  2. Select the appropriate media link(s)
  3. Review and accept the licensing conditions which will appear in a popup window

If you download the O-PAS Standard, Version 1.0 you are presumed to have read and accepted the O-PAS Standard, Version 1.0 Member Licensing Conditions. There is no need to complete and submit the license.

If you are not a member of The Open Group:

If you are not an employee of a member of The Open Group, you can register to download the O-PAS documentation under license for evaluation or commercial use. The evaluation copy is available for instant download at completion of registration.

If you are an employee of a member of The Open Group, but not an Open Process Automatio Forum member, you can download a Personal Use copy.

1.   LICENSE

By virtue of your organization's membership of the Open Process Automation™ Forum, The Open Group grants you ("the Licensee") a personal, non-exclusive license to use the documentation suite known as the O-PAS™ Standard, Version 1.0 ("the Documentation") for the duration of your organization's membership, for your organization’s internal purposes only, provided that:

  • The organization continues to be a member of the Open Process Automation Forum;
  • The Licensee continues to be an employee of the member organization;
  • All existing trademark and copyright notices are retained in all copies of the Documentation; and
  • All existing trademark and copyright notices and this License notice appear in all supporting documentation.

This license, in itself, does not grant any rights to use the O-PAS standard for commercial purposes.

2.   REDISTRIBUTION IS NOT PERMITTED

The Licensee may use the Documentation subject to the following limitation:

  • Redistribution of the Documentation, in part or in whole, is not permitted.

3.   TERMINATION OF LICENSE

This license expires if and when:

  • The Licensee ceases to be an employee of the member organization, or
  • The organization ceases to be a member of the Open Process Automation Forum.

After expiry of the license you will need to remove the Documentation from your system.

5.   DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
