Downloading the Open Agile Architecture Standard as an Architecture Forum Member

The Open Agile Architecture™ Standard is available to all to download free-of-charge for non-commercial use. That will usually mean using it inside your organization. To use the O-AA Standard for commercial purposes, a Commercial License is available (more ...).

How to Apply for a Member License
If your organization is a member of The Open Group Architecture Forum, you may download and use the O-AA Standard documentation internally under a personal Member License. The download procedure:

  1. Ensure you are logged in using your member account
  2. Select the appropriate media link(s)
  3. Review and accept the licensing conditions which will appear in a popup window

If you download the O-AA Standard you are presumed to have read and accepted the O-AA Member Licensing Conditions. There is no need to complete and submit the license.

If you are not an Architecture Forum member:

If you are not an employee of a member of The Open Group, you can register to download the O-AA documentation under license for evaluation or commercial use. The evaluation copy is available for instant download at completion of registration.

If you are an employee of a member of The Open Group, but not an Architecture Forum member, you can download a Personal Use copy.

  • The organization continues to be a Member of The Open Group Architecture Forum
  • The Licensee continues to be an employee of the Member organization
  • All existing trademark and copyright notices are retained in all copies of the Documentation, and
  • All existing trademark and copyright notices and this License notice appear in all supporting documentation

This License, in itself, does not grant any rights to use the Open Agile Architecture Standard for commercial purposes.

2.   REDISTRIBUTION IS NOT PERMITTED

The Licensee may use the Documentation subject to the following limitation:

  • Redistribution of the Documentation, in part or in whole, is not permitted.

If you want other members of your organization to use or evaluate the Open Agile Architecture Standard, please encourage them to register and retrieve the Documentation via the link at: www.opengroup.org/o-aa-licensed-downloads

3.   TERMINATION OF LICENSE

This license expires if and when:

  • The Licensee ceases to be an employee of the Member organization, or
  • The organization ceases to be a Member of the The Open Group Architecture Forum

After expiry of the license you will need to remove the Documentation from your system.
