Capability-Based Planning: The Link between Strategy and Enterprise Architecture

This White Paper describes how a Capability-Based Planning (CBP) method is a solution for the alignment between business strategy and Enterprise Architecture. This method is intended to be used by Enterprise Architects to model at a higher level of abstraction the current and desired abilities of an organization, in relation to the organization’s strategy and its environment.
